Artificial intelligence: World first rules are coming soon – are you ready?

The European Commission first released its proposal for a Regulation on Artificial Intelligence (the “AI Act”) on 21 April 2021. It is intended to be the first legislation setting out harmonised rules for the development, placing on the market, and use of AI in the European Union.
