Leverage Linux to Transform Endpoints and Thrive in the Cloud and Edge Revolution
There is a looming deadline of January 2020, which will see the end of life of Windows 7. Reports in the technology media, suggest this will affect more than 40% of organisations across EMEA.
The result of this has seen Linux operating systems on the endpoint see phenomenal adoption rates, with Linux surpassing Windows in market share when deploying cloud workspaces such as VDI/DaaS.
There has been a paradigm shift, which has seen cloud savvy organisations meet the dynamic expectations of employees by accessing Windows and applications from the data centre. This allows the organisation to avoid the security and performance issues, which come with Windows on the endpoint, but retain the productivity, collaboration and business outputs from Windows via a cloud workspace.
